Together, fighting neurodegenerative diseases
Join us in supporting research, care, and hope for patients around the world.
Our mission
At Brain Research Foundation, our mission is to make a tangible difference in the fight against neurodegenerative diseases, particularly rare conditions (with an emphasis on the different types of ataxia and other related diseases), by driving scientific research, enhancing medical care, and improving patient support. We are committed to identifying and funding the most promising research efforts aimed at uncovering innovative diagnostic methods, preventive strategies, and effective treatments for these severe conditions.
Our work extends beyond research funding—we also focus on providing direct support to patients and their families, ensuring they receive the best possible care, access to medical treatments, and necessary rehabilitation services. We believe in fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment where experts from diverse fields can work together, exchange knowledge, and accelerate breakthroughs in neurodegenerative disease research.
Additionally, we aim to raise awareness about the challenges faced by individuals with neurodegenerative conditions, advocating for improved healthcare policies and public understanding. By engaging in educational initiatives, scientific collaborations, and patient-centered programs, we strive to create lasting change and offer hope to those affected by these diseases worldwide.
